What is Kundalini Yoga & Meditation?

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation is a fast and effective way to clear the mind, energize the body, and uplift the spirit.  Classes are a dynamic blend of rhythmic postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), chanting and sound vibration (mantra), mudra (hand/arm position), and meditation.  This ‘kriya’ based yoga helps to expand awareness, promote health, and build resiliency.

Practicing Kundalini Yoga and Meditation keeps the body in balance, increases vitality, and allows the mind to be clear and flexible when faced with stress and change.  It balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, and enhances conscious presence.  Through Kundalini Yoga you can develop the potential for self-healing, strong intuition, and the ability to stay centered through life’s ups and downs. 

Kundalini Yoga is known as “the yoga of awareness” and through it you can unlock your inner potential which allows your true, radiant essence to shine.  You will tap into your creative, life-force energy so you can experience yourself and your life fully and completely!  No experience is necessary and all are welcome.  Everyone can fully participate at their own level for authentic energetic results.

MEET HOLLY


Since 1999, I have been thankful for the gifts of yoga as tools of exploration, transformation, and evolution.  Through my lived experiences, I believe that yoga can ultimately lead us to remember our true nature and remind us of all that we already are.  I hope to inspire people to connect with their essence through a self-awareness of the love and wholeness that is at the core of all beings.

My heartfelt classes weave inquiry and awareness with vibrant teaching.  Influenced by Ashtanga and Iyengar teachings during my first 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training in 2003, my classes integrate sophisticated yet easy to follow alignment of the body's innate cellular intelligence with the spirit of the heart and the light of the soul.  "Yoga is for every BODY!"

In 2013 I fell in love with the power of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation to build resiliency, awaken consciousness, and open to joy.  I completed my 200-hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training in 2014, my 300-hour certification in 2019, and am an E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance registered teacher dedicated to cultivating vitality in the body, balance in the mind, and to expanding awareness. 

Working with me, I’ll encourage you to embrace and be present with all of life's experiences both on and off the mat, and to listen to your own internal wisdom opening you to the possibilities in each moment.  You will be welcomed just as you are, and all emotions, sensations, thoughts, and experiences will be embraced fully on a path of integration.  I’ve used my own daily yoga and meditation practice to promote healing and optimize my health and well-being – and you can too!  The space that is cultivated through yoga and meditation has allowed me choice in conscious response, instead of contraction and habitual reaction.  My classes are more than a yoga class…they are an invitation for you to be your most authentic, radiant YOU!

My passion is teaching group classes and workshops, working with individuals, and leading continuing education opportunities.  I love to continually learn and grow through practicing, studying, and teaching yoga.  I also enjoy reading and spending time with my husband, two children, and trees.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, please pre-register for classes. For Wednesday morning Kundalini Yoga & Meditation class at The Innerwork Center, registration is through my website (see my calendar schedule). For classes at Health Link Chiropractic, please call or text (804) 559-6818 to register.
Perfect! There are no levels in Kundalini Yoga. Everyone is welcome and the practice will meet you where you are. You can't be "good" or "bad" at Kundalini Yoga, so come give it a try!
For Kundalini Yoga & Meditation classes at The Innerwork Center and Chimborazo Park, class may be cancelled up to 1 hour before class starts. For classes at other locations, please refer to the host studio's cancellation policies.
If you're pre-registered, you'll receive an email and refund if the class is cancelled. I'll also remove it from my schedule, so no additional people will be able to sign up. Additionally, I'll post the cancellation on Facebook and Instagram, so follow me on social media for updates there too.
